I am Amberly, an Australian-born freelance illustrator (and Finished Artist) originally from the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, and currently based in the French Alps (but working with clients all over the world).
My work includes advertising / social marketing campaigns, client stationery, books and games, personal portraits, retail and event concept pitch art and retail display illustration.
I have been drawing and making art since I was a child and have a background in photography and graphic design and have also worked in the printing and advertising industries for many years.
My style ranges from hand-drawn, highly detailed sketches, to brightly coloured digital art,
and everything in between (including frame animation).
Whether hand-drawn or digitally produced (I do both), I generally try to keep an organic and hand-drawn aesthetic to the majority of my illustrations, with nature being a predominant influence and inspiration (likely due to growing up surrounded by the Australian bushland and animals).
